I wimped off to lick my wounds. I was a pussie.

BUT DAMMIT - IT'S TIME FOR ME TO MAN UP!

Follow You Follow Me has the potential to DESTROY Twitter. CRUSH the best marketing tool created since email.

I wish I could articulate in writing just how bad this crisis has become. Already the "AIG and GM" equivalents of Internet Marketing are exploiting human nature with spam and "How to Get a massive TWITTER following"

IT HAS TO STOP!!!

This video will make me about as popular as a Wall Street Banker bragging about his bonus check.

I am going to lose this battle but I dearly hope that those at TWITTER take a little bit of notice of an illiterate Australian who believes the best marketing tool of all time - is at a nexis point of crisis.

If you have been following the twitter, you will know how desperate I have been to get my hands on the Canon 5D mkII.  Thanks to the brilliant JB-HiFi  in Melbourne, mine was delivered yesterday.

As I was setting up the camera last night, I took some shots around our lounge room which was in complete darkness except for the light of the television. These shots are all handheld

 It is important to note, that these images are straight from the camera and apart from some cropping I have done nothing to them.

I have to say though, the reason I was so keen to get the camera was it's groundbreaking video. There was a lot of excitement and hype around this. I recorded this piece, to really test its capabilities to the limit.

First up, there is No light. Seriously -- I mean it, there is NO light. I had a monitor on in the background with constantly changing light and I use the internal microphone.

A-HA,  come on Ed, you used a really expensive lens to shoot this.

Nope.  I used a 50 mm 1.8 lens  which I bought  with the camera yesterday for $149 Australian dollars.  I could have used my fancy pants 50 mm but like I said, I really wanted to test the camera.

What about sound, did you use a lapel mike.

Nope.. This is straight into the camera.

Would I do video like this traditionally, of course not. But it is very liberating to know that I could if I needed to.

It is important to point out that it is not like using a handy cam -  there is no autofocus so you have to set your focus the old-fashioned way by distance or, do what I did and cheated by focusing on the head stock of my Fender  and I just made sure I sat at the same distance to the camera as the head stock...

Crude, but very effective.

Usually I just stick to Internet Marketing, Guitars and, of course Fashion...

But today - I need you to watch something REALLY important. You NEED to understand what is really going on in the economic world. Make no mistake - there are issues - BUT- The same technology that we use to market our wares can be used to create fear and panic like we have never seen in history. I have a lot to say on this - but that will have to wait.

You know I just read Annabelle the story of Chicken Little, at the moment, the world is full of Chicken Littles

There are a handful of Foxy Loxy's...

And Warren Buffett is the most benevolent and successful Foxy Loxy there is

You need to do two things...

1. Watch this video (and tweet your friends to watch it)

and

2. Pull out your kids copy of Chicken Little and read that too
