Thank You Nez

I’m about to join the Fray here in San Diego - but I wanted to quickly say thank you to Nez. There is much more to say about what Nez has done here.

But for now

THANK YOU!

Ed

  1. I absolutely LOVE it! It looks fabulous!

  2. Love the look of the blog. It really seems to represent “you” (or what we know about you).

Nez you have done an awesome job capturing that and getting it into a design. I wish I hadn’t gone all business-like in my blog now!

Nez, what you have done is truly AWESOME! You should put together a product to teach others how to modify templates! Seems you would have many hungry buyers for it, myself included.

  4. Geat site mate, TubbyNerd gets Botox.

  5. Really, REALLY cool!

  6. I’m sorry to say that I’m not too impressed with the new look (sorry, sorry, sorry). The previous look was perhaps a bit plain but it was easy to use and easy to read, while the new look is too restless for me. I’m an advocate of KISS (”Keep It Small and Simple” - or if you prefer, “Keep It Simple, Stupid”) and this site contains too many clashes: The “retro” rays, black pattern, the grunge logo and the photo clip art guitars and so on… I would like to see a bit simplified version where you don’t mix so many different styles. And I’m not necessarily saying you have to drop the clip book and guitars, but rather make them in the same style as the black (Adobe Illustrator) pattern and grunge logo - or the other way around. This post wasn’t meant to be a bashing on either the site or Nez’s work (he’s probably put in a lot of work and I know from experience how much time you have to put in when you make WordPress themes), and I’m a great fan of Tubby Nerd, so I hope this will read as constructive critique that will make this site even better.
