The Thirty Day Challenge Show - One Down - Many More To Come…
The Thirty Day Challenge Show - Live Video - Justin.tv
That was a BLAST!
The dust is settling on the first ever show and the first thing to say it
IT WORKED
We had between 3-400 viewers through the show and IT WORKED
Now rather than me say what it was like.
What did you guys think? How did you find that compared to a traditional teleconference?
Did you like the interaction?
One nice thing - The Thirty Day Challenge is now a featured broadcast here.

Now if you missed the show - Here’s the replay…
See you next week!

Hi Ed,
Thanks for a great first show. I was up until about 1.45am UK time, then I just had to crash, so I watched the first hour. I’ll catch up with the highlights later.
The info on Facebook got me thinking, and I’m creating an FB page as I speak.
I also just discovered the amount of people you can target on Facebook. 20 Million in the US alone!
Awesome stuff, hope to catch you next week.
Cheers
Stuart
I thought it was a very good prototyping session.
The technology worked fine with that number of people, which was equivalent to an online conference. I liked the way Ed took some time to read the chat room and respond occasionally, the realtime interaction. Using similar technology for education conferences, I find that often the ’speaker’ just delivers a prepared lecture whilst the chat room is used for taking notes or else as an unrelated backchannel. But that’s just using new technology to simulate an old style lecture room whereas last night we were using it to take better advantage of the new modes of communication which the tech makes possible.
On the other hand it can be time consuming because I only intended to stay up for half an hour so now I want my two hours back pease!
Hey Ed - great first show mate. Great after-show party by the way
As with anything new, once both the broadcaster and the viewers get more familiar with the way justin.tv works etc - the flow of the shows will continue to improve, but as a raw opening “test” show, yours was superb.
Big thanks to Dan and the gang for excellent moderating throughout, it made the whole show more enjoyable for those who were watching for its pure content.
The most interesting part for me was seeing the interaction with the viewers and the amazing quick response you got to any requests you put out. Now that really is a step in the right direction for live global communication!
Looking forward to show #2.

P.S Let me know when you’ve decided what to label this years 30DC and give me a theme to work on - what style etc, it’ll be fun
I’ll email you.
Hey Ed,
I loved the show! We (Rick and I) will definitely be tuning in to your future shows. We are big believers in the 30DC and are waiting anxiously for the next one to start in August.
I think this format works brilliantly and loved being able to ask questions and interact with other viewers.
I think you have a winner here!
All the best,
Cathy Henry
I enjoyed everything about the TV show, as I do with
all your events. I especially enjoyed not having to
listen to my phone for the audio portion of the show.
Great Job,
Ed
This will be addictive, very fun way to interact and learn. Makes it more exciting to be live.
