Hi Ed,
You probably shouldn’t approve this as a blog comment since this isn’t really a comment – I noticed the absence of an email address on your blog
I am tracking down popular Twitter users to get their opinions on a new Twitter mashup site that I just launched and thought you would be a great candidate.
The site is called Commuter Feed: http://www.commuterfeed.com. Its a way for Twitter users to report on issues in their daily commute (traffic, subway delays etc), so that others can check out what’s going on and plan their commute accordingly. Kind of a new use of the Twitter concept I think.
We launched not more than 24 hrs ago, so there’s zero activity so far Very ripe to have some support and love from devoted people..
Anyhow just curious what you think of the site, I’d be excited to hear your opinion on it and talk.
Let me know if you’re interested, if not just wanted to say hello.
Hi Ron,
I know you asked for Ed’s opinion not mine.
But I’d like to make two quick observations:
1. If You want instant growth, you should consider approaching the nice folks at Twitter.
Using commuter feed thus:
Twitter.com/commuterfeed/yourregion, with biz’s blessing and cooperation would propel you quickly.
But I defer to the boss for a real answer, as you have.
2. Ed has displayed the nuts to allow comments without moderation lock. No approaval needed. The rare junk can just be nuked.
3. He is currently preoccupied (infatuated) with Valentine’s dreams of one Pete Williams.
Congrats Annabelle!
