The point is that the switch to blatant commercialism by facebook does not escape the notice of joe & jane while the IM crowd is just starting to catch on.
I predict that you’ll soon be seeing “too commercial” “sell out” etc.
Facebook is in danger of becoming “so 2007″
Ideally speaking facebook membership would be limited to narcissistic people who have and like to spend money on the things they see advertised on facebook.
