  1. Ed:

I’m an Immediate Edge member and have conducted some preliminary research on a particular key phrase that, according to WordTracker is yielding 10,000 searches a day against 278,000 competing sights. There are no Web 2.0 properties in the top ten on Google. The #3 position is Wikkipedia and the #9 position is an article in Businessweek.

I’d like to disclose the key phrase to you and get your input as to whether it is something worth pursuing. If it is something you think may be worthwhile, perhaps it can be the Maximum Edge Redux project.

A little about me: I own a software company (with 2 partners) that helps advertisers who sell directly to consumers stay in business by keeping their merchant processing charge back rates under the 1% Visa/Mastercard threshold. My clients are typically internet marketers or telemarketers. One client of mine that is running an email campaign that is generating over 1,000 sales per day and his monthly credit card processing will hit the $5 million mark by the end of Q1 ‘08. We keep our clients in business using no “black-hat” processing tricks. We help our clients deploy, very powerfully, Visa/MasterCard best practices while placing these clients with our exceptional relationships with U.S. based merchant banks. What this means is that marketers can be more aggressive in the way they sell products to consumers.

Drop me a note and let me know how you’d like to proceed.

    Thanks again – Jim Gray

PS – I sent this email to Dan as well. Hope to hear from you.
