    Yes, our tree came out of storage today and will be up tomorrow with about 30 new decorations my wife has acquired over the last few months!!!

    Saw some nice lights on a place in Forest Hill last night, they’ve already put hours and hours into that “set”!!

    I don’t do Christmas - so sad. I have a big job every year that has to be done over the holidays and so I work away while OH watches the old TV programs and brings me choccies and the occasional glass of falling down water. We do take in waifs and strays for Christmas Day - that is any visitors or folk seeing if they like France and are horrified to find that everything but everything is closed on Christmas Day - bars, restaurants etc. I am happy to cook for them.

    We are encouraged to put up lights but the Milky Way does for me. The glorious creation of the billions of stars and galaxies seen on a cold cloudless night is something that not many people have ever seen.

    I personally cannot cope when all the decorations come down and the room look bare - I have lights I can keep on inside all year round.
