I have been looking at the Facebook PPC thing for a few days now and it looks as though there is lots of possibilities there but I can also see a lot of accounts being blocked in the time it takes people to get used to the fact that it just isn’t Google.
Nice info as normal Ed looking forward to finding out more on The Edge!

Great information in the podcast Ed (as usual). I thought you might be interested in this article from one of our local newspapers - the link is a bit long so I hope it shows up OK. The story is about Facebook being banned by a local hospital. The comments are the real interesting part!

I have to tell you that facebook PPC works like a dream. In a matter of 4 days I was able to generate over 180 leads for an average of a little over $1/lead. This was the first time that I ever even thought about doing advertising on the internet…and after each campaign I ran…it just kept blowing my mind.
Each of those leads can turn into 10-20/head each month if they keep buying my product from a network marketing company I am partnered with. The leads I generated were ones who wanted a FREE sample.

hmmm I have to check this out. I have been experiencing loads of free leads by video but I will check this out for myself.

One comment above mentions $1 a lead, well I just checked with Getsubscribers and their most expensive lead is 45 cents

Sorry to say, but you really waffle on too much. I don’t really have the time to listen about the weather in Melbourne or your love of Apple etc. Listening to your stuff really starts to waste my time.

Very interesting Podcast Ed. I am lapping up every thing I can on Facebook of course, and this was good to hear.
I am especially excited about your January plans as San Francisco is my stomping grounds. I live 70 miles north of the city, but will stay at my daughters in San Rafael just about 10 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge for how ever long it makes sense.
If you need help with arranging anything, or any other help at all in the area I am free to help you out in any way I possibly can. I have only been here in Cazadero the last 4 years, spent most of my life in Mill Valley, working in the city and on the peninsula. I do know my way around the area so that is not a problem.
