  1. Hey Ed great vid, at the moment i’m experimenting with:

    https://adwords.google.co.uk/select/KeywordToolExternal?defaultView=3

    and http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/?keywords

‘Note with the Google.adwords facility you will need to adjust various settings e.g region, prices etc’

There are a few others but these are the main ones, Hope this helps

  2. Thanks, Ed, for the useful Adwords tip…

…and also for playing the guitar. I enjoyed watching it! :-)

(I’m learning to play the guitar now. Perhaps in the future, I’ll get an electric guitar, too.)

  3. Yep…stick to the day job :)

  4. Ed, I’m starting an adwords campaign for my:
    http://satibo-usa.com
Just bought Perry’s Ultimate Guide on Amazon.
    Your advice was timely, thanks

  6. Aloha Underachievers and Tubby Nerds,

The best tool out there right now to replace Overture’s tool is http://www.vretoolbar.com/ which is FREE and plugs into both Internet Explorer and Firefox.

    Hope that helps people.

  7. Hey there everyone,

Just thought I would pop in here and
    share real quick.

All the thoughts, tools and ideas
    presented are absolutely terrific.

There is just ONE big huge gaping
hole with all the free keyword tools
that services have created to fill
the void of the disappearance of
    the Overture tool.

And that is . . . (drum roll please)

Every single FREE keyword tool has
NO capability of saving your keywords
in a basket and managing your projects.

Well — since July of 2004,
    NicheBOT Classic has been
    providing its constantly growing
userbase the ability to save their
keyword searches that are done for
    free.

I know — it’s okay to feel your
    heart pitter-patter and get excited
like a kid in a candy story.

And I’m sure you would agree…

That’s not only what I call
“useful” — but I call that an
    awesome solution!

You can create a FREE account
    right here:

Time to manage your FREE keyword
    searches better, don’t ya think?

And don’t be surprised if you find
spreading the news to your friends
    and business acquaintances about
    this clearly useful resource.

    Enjoy!

    Best wishes,

  1. Catching up on the latest Internet Marketing News « Brent Hodgson, Copywriter:

[…] Ed also vlogs on the difficulties some niche marketers are having with PPC advertising - specifically, using Google Adwords profitably. I don’t see much more current info on this topic in the blogosphere, so maybe this problem is limited to certain types of marketers, isn’t being experienced by the bulk of advertisers, or perhaps caused by bad PPC techniques… I’ll nonetheless be keeping an eye on this.
