  1. Ed,

Thanks for the POD cast. Two thing, 1) I want to thank you and Frank for the 30 day Challenge this year. You guys (and J.Reese) are the sole reason I’m actually making some kind of income online.

    2) the apple iphone is very cool. Done before though :-) By the guys on the other side of the fence ie. compaq.. pocket PC phones. They do all that stuff, plus they can also be an ipod too.

But as usual, MAC will always present the PC stuff totally slick and modern.

  2. Shit Ed…but the best don’t get there without riding over setbacks. But don’t they suck when it happens!

Great podcast, keep up being real in an unreal world :)

  3. Ed,

    Happy New Year mate!

Sorry it started on a downer for you, but you know you will come out of it a stronger person.

I got well and truly shafted last year by a busines partner for a rather chunky six figure amount. But do you know what hurt most was the deceit and betrayal rather than the money.

I think there was some macho bollocks thrown in as well for a short time. Do you know how much it costs to make someone ’sleep with the fishes’ these days? It’s not cheap ;->

Anyhoo, I’m all better now and a stronger person for it. I don’t trust anyone who hasn’t got my DNA in them anymore by the way, but my therapist says that’s quite normal 8-)

Money’s pretty easy to get hold of, but real friends are worth their weight in gold.

Your wife is spot on by the way. Wealth is all relative isn’t it? One thing I quickly learnt as I made a bit of money is that it aint the most important thing. Not even close.

The excitement of having a new ‘anything’ soon loses it’s shine and appeal, but health, friends, family and passion for life are always top of my list and don’t cost a penny.

I did find initially, it started to eat away at me. I had to get it back and (big epic music!) “punish those who had wronged me!” It just aint worth it! If it makes financial sense to have some hot shot legal team on it, then unleash them and let them go for it.

If not, stick it in the filing cabinet under ‘Got Shitted on!’and move forwards the wiser man for the experience.

Then go watch a documentary about Sudan or Rwanda. That normally puts everything in perspective for me.

    Cheers,

    Pete

  4. I do not know what happened to you but I know you will recover and live is all learning. I have had 2 partnerships and both failed. I have a long time friend that just lost $.5 mil on a real estate deal so be careful.

    Thanks for the pod cast.
