So, I was, as usual, enjoying another extra warm day and I see Frank with a message on the blog….. and a fancy AV post to boot!! All of a sudden it starts getting real cold.. you know, Artic circle kind of cold…. now everyone is freaking out… Attila wants to know “where are the friggin parkas”……. Joe from Russia, is telling everybody to stop being such a bunch of p**sies.. Ponchus Pilot says it too cold to keep washing his hands…. and the big guy with the fork is all pissed off because the furnace is broken, Oy Vey!!.
Hey Frank we were all JUST fine, minding our own business until you just had to start “working”!!!!
Ed hurry back, it really is way too cold here now….
I’m HUGELY keen to get my hands on further details for the Melbourne Conference. The dates are coming up in mere weeks and I really need to be organised. So here goes:
What’s the deal for Aussie 30 Day Winners from last year (2005)? The original prize was for a plane fare down and one nights accomodation. How will this come about? Should I get my own plane ticket and be reimbursed down there? If I book accomodation for three nights, will I get reimbursed for one night’s stay the same as the plane ticket? I’m happy to book everything if I know the details of what will happen when I get down there.
I realise the same deal doesn’t apply to winners from this year’s challenge, I just wanted to get in early to clarify things for Aussie winners from 2005. It’s just over a month away and I need to get organised early as I’m getting married a fortnight after the conference.
Can you announce the venue?
Would be handy to know where to book accommodation close to the venue.
Thanks Ed.
Hey Ed.. Congrats
About the Melbourne conf. Does living in Tassie count as having to travel overseas?
We would love to come to the conference and were wondering if we have earnt a couple of free tickets?
Warmly
Michelle and Simon
P.S. We were ultras for over 6 months
and I’ve been to both the Australian conferences in 2004!!
It’s at the melbourne convention centre
AV ninjas should note that that was recorded on my mobile phone and emailed in.
Ed
